The “ballistic shield” bags were aimed at being available for the “back to school” market, but sales have spiked in the U.S in the wake of the mass shootings in Texas and Ohio. The bags feature images from the Avengers and Disney Princesses, however, Disney have not given permission for the use of these characters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney are aiming to shut down sales of these bags that feature some of their most beloved characters.

Here are some peeks at the new range available at Hollywood Studios. There are rock star tank and t-shirts with attraction graphics, and also guitar picks that would compliment every rock star’s individual look. There is also a limited edition commemorative pin for all you pin traders!

Anniversary merchandise will be available for a limited time from “Rock Around The Shop” and “Once Upon a Time” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

On 9th August, the Magic Kingdom in Disney World will help celebrate this milestone with special merchandise and a special themed treat.

The Haunted Mansion gift shop, Memento Mori, will be the place to check out the new ghostly collection. Madame Leota invites you all to become caretakers of its 999 restless spirits, and will thank everyone with a commemorative “death certificate” making you an official caretaker!

The gossip surfaced quite a while ago, with a well know online Disney site got the rumour mill turning with a claim that the Walt Disney Company will be launching its own airline in 2021.

“We have ‘ears’ inside on this development and have been given information that the entertainment offerings will include inflight Disney + access to each seat, Disney’s new streaming service. Disney songs will be being played over the airplane’s speakers as you board.”

The classic 1994 animated film remake has earned $360.9 million at the US box office, whilst making an additional $638.5 million internationally. On Monday, the total for the film stood at $999.4 million. All this considering that on its opening weekend, the film was given a score of 55% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Critics found that whilst the animation and effects were stunning, the musical numbers were boring.

In Tomorrowland, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor will see an all new show, the Tomorrowland Speedway will be filled with thousands of lights and new décor and Space Mountain will too have new lights and high energy music!

In Fantasyland, new lights and music will feature on the Mad Tea Party in four different combinations.

Guests are reporting on Twitter that there have been huge queues this morning at Guest Services. A system failure at the gates are preventing theme parks tickets from being scanned and allowing access. It seems guests with magic bands are unaffected and are able to enter the park. With many people giving up and going home and the blistering heat, free water is being dispensed to cool people down.

The post, screen grabbed and shown above, claims that these guests increase the lines, make it difficult for mothers to experience the park with children and ruin their vacation.

It has caused quite the backlash, with online debates happening for and against the post.

The actress was also well know for her part in The Simpsons, playing Bart's nerdy classmate Martin. Mirroring the Mickey and Minnie characters, Taylor was married to Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey, until his death in 2009.

Bob Iger, Disney's chairman and chief executive, paid tribute to Taylor in a statement released on Saturday.

"For more than 30 years, Minnie and Russi worked together to entertain millions around the world - a partnership that made Minnie a global icon and Russi a Disney Legend beloved by fans everywhere," said Mr Iger.

According to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, the fight didn't end after the family was escorted from the park. One of the men attempted to hit a Disneyland employee with his car before simulating a gun with his hand and pointing it at two members of his family, .
