Disney Skyliner Popcorn Bucket Released At Walt Disney World

The bucket is available in Epcot, with the artwork showing Mickey, Minnie, Chip & Dale and Pluto riding the transport system. It is the same artwork that was used when the Skyliner system was officially announced.

The bucket is on the larger side than those usually available, and it also includes an Inaugural  Year Disney Skyline Lanyard as well.

Disney Plus

Disney Plus To Launch Early In The UK

Disney Plus was released in the Netherlands, US, Canada and Australia in November last year, with its UK release date set to be March 31st. This has however been reviewed and the UK and Europe date brought forward by one week to March 24th.

It has been rumoured that the release date has been brought forward in order to combat piracy, especially that of “The Mandalorian”, the new Star Wars series featuring “Baby Yoda”.

New “Epcot Forever” Merchandise Released

To celebrate Epcot’s 37th anniversary and the beginning of the new “Epcot Forever” fireworks show, Disney has released some new themed merchandise.

This collection has been inspired by the evolution of Epcot, with a vintage, retro feel. Items include apparel, drinkware and an ornament exclusively available at Epcot.

If you are lucky enough to be a Disney annual passholder, there is also an exclusive hoodie featuring Figment.

By ringing the toll-free number, 1-877-7-MICKEY, you will be treated to one of six goodnight messages from one of your favourite characters. Currently you can be wished good night from Mickey Mouse, Woody, Jasmine, Anna and Else, Yoda or Spiderman! Hopefully this will make the bedtime rituals go a little smoother and provide a really fun way to end the day.

You will need to be quick though as the service is running until 30th September 2019 and you can also opt in for a one time text message.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Edition Vans Released

Making the announcement on their Twitter page last night, Vans will be teaming up with Disney to brign us the iconic sneakers before October 31st.

With the success of the Mickey Mouse, Van Gogh and Harry Potter ranges, the brand feels this latest Disney collaboration will be a hit. The teaser uploaded  by the sportswear brand showcased Skellington’s pet ghost dog, Zero- so imagine to find him amongst other characters from the film including Sally, Oogi Boogie and Jack Skellington.

The collectible bottles and sought after souvenirs are sold exclusively at the Star Wars lands have been prohibited on flights as they look too much like replica explosives.

Items that look like replicated explosives are not allowed on aircraft as it is feared they will cause confusion for TSA screeners at airports security checkpoints.

Disney Sony Standoff Ends Spiderman within MCU

Spiderman’s film rights are owned by Sony, and he was able to appear in the Marvel films, like Avengers: Endgame, because of a deal between Sony and Marvel – owned by Disney.

Spiderman is a Marvel comic book character, but the film rights were bought in 1999 by Sony.  They made five films with the character, three with Tobey Maguire and two with Andrew Garfield.
