LEGO Have Revealed a First Look It’s New Disney Train Set
The latest Disney set from LEGO will be available from August 21st, and it’s huge!
LEGO fans can celebrate today, as the Danish toy manufacturer has released photos of its latest design – and it’s 2,900 pieces makes it one of the biggest and most extravagant to date.
Working with Disney, to toy giant has created the iconic Disney train, inspired by those seen in its theme parks.
Each set comprises of four buildable cars, engine, tender, passenger car and a parlour car. It measures up at 77cm when fully built, meaning it fits perfectly on its 16 piece track.
Inside there is room for several characters, but the detailing is also a key factor. Inside you will see such items as armchairs, tables complete with flower vases as well as a tiny tea set!
The train has the ability to move thanks to its LEGO “Powered Up Elements”, like the LEGO Magnetic couplers, which connect the carriages together. You can even control the train with an app, allowing you to drive the train and emit sound effects.
However, no Disney train would be complete without its station, and this set is no different. The station, measuring 39cm x 35cm, sports brick-built furnishings and details, such as draped windows, a wall clock, a chandelier and a tower room (with a secret surprise!)
Just like the Castle set released a few years ago, the train set comes with loved characters – Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Chip ‘n’ Dale!
The set launches on 21st August costing £299.99.
