Bolliger & Mabillard confirmed to be working on the Hulk!

Universal Studios Florida has confirmed that the Incredible Hulk Coaster redesign will be led by Swiss roller coaster manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard.

More commonly known as B&M, this is great news for all fans of one Florida's best loved coasters. B&M are the designers of the original Hulk ride along with some of the best rides around the world from Alton Towers in the UK to numerous Six Flags and even some of the best Busch Gardens coasters.

After weeks of circulating rumours that Bolliger & Mabillard were not involved in the refit at all, it's going to be a relief for many that the refit is in good hands.

Robert Niles, a reporter with Theme Park Insider, got to the bottom of this issue Thursday morning, calling Universal directly and asking them directly:
"I reached out to Universal Orlando this morning to ask about the rumors, and a Universal spokesperson confirmed that it is Bolliger & Mabillard that is working with Universal Orlando on the Hulk rebuild."

Seems pretty conclusive then...

The Hulk makeover will replace old track and coaster trains and as Universal claims, "the overall experience is going to feel more immersive and high-tech." The ride isn't expected to open until summer 2016.
